Deadline: October 29, 2019

It is with pleasure that we invite you to be part of the “Living The Green Life” activation. This is the maiden edition and will take place in the Ijora Community, Lagos, Nigeria.

Curbing the menace of climate change is a critical issue. To this end, we have commenced with tackling plastic pollution in the Ijora Community where we operate out of as a result of frequent flooding and associated illnesses. Reports show that more than 40% of household generated waste ends up on our streets and drainage causing obstruction to the free flow of water.

Through this activation, Sahara is raising awareness and encouraging the recycling of waste in exchange for various benefits from monetary, to waste management and health. It is anticipated that this project will commence on a modular basis as the various elements are introduced and expanded to ensure maximum and sustained social impact.
