Not so fast. Since I have not been playing Fortnite I have been re-watching Friends on Netflix, since becoming merc’ed a dozen or so times on a near nightly basis was starting to wear on my nerves. I had some comfort food for the mind. Like season five Fortnite, year five of Friends was among the biggest of the show’s history.

Fortnite season five started today and while it is the biggest patch for the match, I stopped playing the game right around the stage everyone started losing their collective minds over a meteor in the sky. Afterward there was a rocket launch but before that, an Avengers tie-in and some thing about a playground recently and now its an esport — it’s exhausting trying to keep up. But now you can drive golf carts now, therefore, game on?

Not too fast. I had some comfort food for the brain. Like season five of Fortnite, year five of Friends has been among the greatest of the show’s history.

When it eventually landed on the Nintendo Switch, it was fairly apparent that Fortnite would be dominating the gaming dialog for a long time. While some people are concentrating hard on solving those season five challenges or searching treasure, I’m glad watching the”The One Where Phoebe Hates PBS”, yet another episode which highlights the bumbling emotional instability of the oft-poorly dressed Ross.

I have not entirely given up on the game, but considering I will be purchasing a Sony PS4 after this year, the dearth of cross-progression with Sony is a detriment to really ongoing with all the seasons. I’m not the only one leaving behind previous progressions, as anything rewards I’ve got mean little if I can’t take them with me.
